Dr. Sharon Pepukayi is entering into her 3rd year as the Superintendent of Talbot County Public Schools (TCPS). An educator for over 30 years, Dr. Pepukayi has served in the roles of teacher, coach, mentor, student advisor, assistant principal, principal, and assistant superintendent. 

With Transforming and Performing Each Day being the TCPS motto, Dr. Pepukayi enjoys school leaders, speaking to students about their success, and discussing the actions of the district with their many community partners. 

Having graduated from TCPS, Sharon is excited to be back in her community, working on improving student outcomes as well as sustaining the great staff she has who work within the district.

Robin Werner’s Bio

Robin Werner serves as the Director of Teaching and Learning for Talbot County Public Schools, where she leads efforts in curriculum development, instructional innovation, and professional growth for educators. 

With a background as a science and CTE teacher, high school assistant principal, and CTE curriculum supervisor, she brings diverse experiences to her leadership role. 

In addition to her work within the district, Robin contributes to state-wide education initiatives as an Advisory Committee Member for Maryland’s Blueprint for Education, where she plays a key role in shaping College and Career Readiness policies.
